AUDI - SHANGHAI DESING WEEK

"The Garage as a Living Space"

City: London, United Kingdom
Client: UNIT 9
Field: Booth and Experiential Design

A visionary proposal developed at UNIT9 for Audi’s presence at Shanghai Design Week 2025, consisting of two immersive spaces: an architectural booth and a fully customized hotel suite. The concept, “The Garage as a Living Space,” reimagines how Audi’s design philosophy can shape environments beyond the car itself. I led the spatial design, from early sketches to full 3D models and renders using Rhino, Cinema 4D, and Octane.

The booth explored two design directions, one sculptural and one organic, both anchored by the Audi A5L and connected by a red light line inspired by the car’s rear signature. Key elements included an interactive X-ray display, LED skylight, layered materials, and dynamic spatial flow. The hotel suite translated Audi’s aesthetics into a luxurious stay, integrating tactile materials, custom lighting, and tech such as a HUD and voice control, offering guests the feeling of living inside an Audi.
