"T-Mobile Dimensions of 5G"
City: Barcelona, Spain
Client: Clim Studio
Field: 3D World Building

I collaborated with the Barcelona-based studio Clim Studio as a 3D artist on a project aimed at creating commercial animations for T-Mobile's new 5G network in the United States. My role involved designing and building the 3D environment assets that would serve as the base for the team to later add characters, props, and animation. These environments were key to visually establishing the brand’s identity in the project, ensuring a cohesive and dynamic experience throughout the animation.
The project’s design was inspired by T-Mobile’s 5G-HQ logotype, with the 3D worlds starting and living within the T-Mobile magenta cube, which gradually fades to reveal the digital worlds inside. This setup allowed us to introduce the brand right from the start and maintain visual continuity as the storylines developed. The collaboration involved a team of over 50 creatives, producers, designers, and animators from around the world working together on this ambitious project.
This undertaking required the use of multiple software and a reliable pipeline to meet the high expectations of the client. All characters were modeled in Zbrush, rigged and animated in Maya, with final look development in Cinema 4D, and compositing and color grading completed in After Effects. This intricate workflow allowed us to deliver high-quality and visually engaging animations for T-Mobile.
